Outerwear sits on top of everything else, so size it over your team's normal layers. A softshell that fits over a hoodie is a size up from your usual t-shirt. We carry XS–4XL across the jacket range so even a very tall line-of-welder team gets covered.

• Measure the chest over the layer they'll wear inside — that's the only measurement that matters.
• Raglan sleeves and gussets change how a size feels at the shoulder; go by the chest.
• If arms are the issue, check the sleeve length column in the size table before sizing up — a big jacket is not automatically longer in the arm.
